Biography

Elizabeth Muscari earned a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas and is a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) candidate at the University of Arkansas in the Program in Creative Writing and Translation. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in The Journal, Gulf Coast, The Texas Review, among others.

Her writing has been awarded the Walton Family & Carolyn F. Walton Cole Fellowship in Poetry, the John & Shirley Holmes Award in Creative Nonfiction, and the Felix Christopher McKean Award.

Elizabeth’s professional experience includes serving as Development Director for the Arkansas International, development assistant for TheatreSquared, and as a marketing intern at WFAA-TV (Channel 8), AT&T Performing Arts Center. She is a freelance writer for Dallas Hotel Magazine.
