Biography

Elizabeth Muscari holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing and a BA in English from the University of Arkansas.

An interdisciplinary artist, her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in The Journal, Gulf Coast, The Texas Review, Muzzle Magazine, West Trade Review, among others. Her poetry has been nominated for 2024 Best of the Net and Best New Poets. She is a recipient of an Artists 360 Practicing Artist grant, the Walton Family & Carolyn F. Walton Cole Fellowship in Poetry, John & Shirley Holmes Award in Creative Nonfiction, and the Felix Christopher McKean Award.

Elizabeth is also a dancer and dance educator in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and has been commissioned for choreography and performance with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Medium, The Vibe Adult Dance, among others.
