Biography

Elizabeth Muscari holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas.

An interdisciplinary artist, her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in The Journal, Gulf Coast, The Texas Review, Muzzle Magazine, West Trade Review, among others. Her poetry has been a finalist for the Olive B. O’Connor Fellowship at Colgate University and the Hughes Fellowship at Southern Methodist University. She is a recipient of an Artists 360 Practicing Artist grant, the Walton Family & Carolyn F. Walton Cole Fellowship in Poetry, John & Shirley Holmes Award in Creative Nonfiction, and the Felix Christopher McKean Award.

Elizabeth is also a dancer in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and has been commissioned for choreography and performances with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Medium, NWA Dance Collective, The Vibe, among others.
